What we collect
- Information you give us through forms, the Annuity Checkup, scheduling and job applications, such as your name, email, phone, organization, your answers and any notes or files you send.
- Contract information you or your insurance company provide under your signed authorization when you engage us for a review.
- Email you exchange with us, which is kept with your record so we can follow up properly.
- Basic website data, such as the page you arrived on and the campaign that brought you, and, if enabled, aggregated analytics.
We don’t ask for Social Security numbers, account numbers or passwords through this website or by email.
How we use it
- To respond to you, schedule conversations and deliver the services you request
- To send follow-up information you asked for, such as our field guide and occasional insights. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click.
- To consider applicants for roles at Annuity Benchmark
- To improve our website and services, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations
How we share it
We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, such as our website host and email provider, under confidentiality obligations; with insurance companies when you authorize us to request your contract details; with your financial professional when they engaged us on your behalf; or when the law requires.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses your browser’s local storage for conveniences such as your color theme and pre-filling forms you’ve already completed. If we enable Google Analytics, it uses cookies to measure site usage in aggregate.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations. For institutional engagements, retention and deletion follow the written agreement. Job applications, including résumés, are kept for up to two years so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and other safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we limit what we collect.

Our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
